Solve 4x+3y=11 and 3x+y=2 simultaneously.

y=2-3x ---(3)

subs. (3) into (1):
4x+3(2-3x)=11
4x+6-9x=11
-5x=5
x=-1 ---(4)

subs. (4) into (3):
y=2-3(-1)
y=5
