Hi everybody.
So currently I'm just working my way through the Success One Physics Book- just for some overall revision before trials. But as I'm doing this, I'm seeing a lot of very strange questions on the "specimen" questions section for Astrophysics.
The style is very simple and vague- they give you a value for period or mass or distance of seperation- however they give it to you distance in Astronomical Units, such as "3.4 times the mass of the Sun" or "4 AU" or something like that.
My question is...are they going beyond the syllabus when asking questions like these? I mean, these are questions I was not taught about ANYWHERE.
Quick explanation would also be good if anyone wants to help explain it to me.
