I noticed in the English syllabus that the "Physical Journey" looks at the "physical, intellectual and emotional" aspect of the journey. Would the latter two border on an inner journey i.e a psychological and emotional journey? How do you differentiate between the two and where does the line lie?

i did the physical journey this year and all the texts we had were originally about a physical journey but then that physical journey 'acted as a catalyst for' an emotional journey lol..

i think the difference between physical and inner journies is pretty close..i'd say to differentiate between the two would be that a character specifically going on an inner journey doesn't go on a physical journey..so..in answer to your first question, i'd say that a psychological and emotional journey on it's own would be considered an inner journey..even though they could also fit in to a physical journey..i could be seriously wrong..but that's my guess :D ..and sorry for confusing you, which i'm sure i have..

it shouldn't really matter anyway..just follow what your teacher says :)
