This is my HSC summary on this section - it should provide useful to you

Background Info
- Conference ran from 18 Jan 1919 - 28 June 1919

The armistice
- Germany defeated accumulation of factors
- Germans appealed to US president wilson 4 Oct 1918
- Wilson outlines 14 points for peace
- Allies did nto support - Euproean delages opposed to Wilsons plan
- Brit. PM - George - "should we make it clear to the German government that we are not going in on the 14 points of peace"
- allies eventually agree on 2 limitations

(this is import. as shows the frame of mind of some of the major powerplayers at the conference - just have a brief knowledge of their reaction to the armistice)

Role of Clemenceau
- France witnessed worse of fighting - resutl wanted to punish germany
- C. believed france still in danger

Objectives
- Disarmament of Germany
- Guarentee for french security
- Restoration of Alscace-Lorraine
- Reparations
- Creation of buffer zone across rhine

- C. was responcibel for disallowing Germany to attend meeting

Role fo Wilson
- LIttle understanding of European politics
- Failed emphais with US position as net creditor
- lost touch with American public - had been away

Objectives
- 14 points intened to make and preserve peace in Europe
- Germany retain prewar terrirtory
- Reparations - Germany pay little or none
League of nations - eurpoe needed to create one

- objected to C. demands - forced him to revise them
- growing isolationalist policy within US - not wanted to get invovled in European affairs

Role of Llyod George
- Middleman b/w C. and Wilson

Objectives
- Fullfilling public desire- punish germany
- desire to soften french demands
- respumtion of trade b/w european powers
- increase brit. colonial powers

- aimed limit french demands
- felt reparations of 2 000million was enough - did not want to cripple germnay as needed her as trading partner at later date

As for sources have a look at the internet modern history sorucebook (just type that into a search engine for the link - that may have something - i'm not sure however if it does cover the paris conference

What would be good to include woudl be primary sources from each of the 3 men - wilson and george wrote memoires that you should be able to find somewhere on the net - but there would be an abundance of primary sources and secordary stuff in your text book
