To those who finished all their HSC exams, how was your experience? which exams did you do good in or bad in, and which ones were hard and which one's were easy, and do you think your Mark's will be good?

I feel like a lot of the exams were weird this year, as in they didn't have the same vibes as any of the past papers.....

I think my main complaint is the fact that there wasn't a lot of syllabus dotpoints tested. I feel like it's not a fair guage to assess 'what you know' if you don't assess a broad range of syllabus dotpoints, esp in maths this year.

Contrary to popular belief(people were complaining about math a lot), I actually found Maths especially 2 Unit and 3 Unit quite manageable.

I think NESA was trying very hard to be unpredictable, in most exams they didn't even use the the syllabus points
i think most subjects have just to be unusual. ext 2 math felt like a trial exam. ext 1 was prtty normal, english advanced felt kinda same vibe just more creative with the questions, like they are rlly trying to push people to be creative, which is probably better anyways. ik not many people don't do ecos but even that felt different, like it was prtty much all theory for multis+shorts which is a bit of an anomaly compared to PSP's (even tho its probs my test out of the bunch).

Yeah I feel like it's all in the air at the moment. A lot of exams felt easy, but I'm pretty sure they had a lot of landmines that I may or may not have stepped into

I'm guessing NESA's aim this year was to throw a spanner into the works so that old methods of prep such as spamming past papers wouldn't work as well anymore, i.e. NESA loves making us stress!

chill. reflect on urself before you reflect on others
The scaling of extension 2 and 1 determines whether or not I make it in. I'm on a loose thread already. Fucking 2024 English scaled like shit compared to every other year, making me lose 10 out of 500 scaled marks for no reason. The reason being fucking retard dropkicks in the 2024 English cohort. I doubt extension 1 will be affected if I do E4. If you aren't aware, 10 scaled marks represents an increase in atar by 1-2 points at around the 85 range
