Mulholland Dr- By LYNCH, as source?? (1 Viewer)

Is it advisable to use the film <Mulholland Dr.> by David Lynch as a secondary (not CORE like HT or LOTR) source, i do well at English and I believe I can really spin it.... My question is, do you advise that I stay well away from it or could it be worked with and done well?

PS. For those who haven't yet concluded, I am doing Speculative Fiction
