Missing hsc test (2 Viewers)

Hi, I’m an HSC student. Throughout my Year 12 assessments at school, I scored above 85% in engineering. However, I got sick during the HSC exam and decided to stay home and submit a misadventure form. What mark will I receive for that exam? And if I attended the exam but only scored around 50%, which option would be better for me to choose?

I think they attempt to estimate what you would've gotten based on your class's modulated internal marks in line with your rank in the subject. Not too sure, but that's what I've heard. I would say make sure you get a doctor's certificate for the misadventure, and they will most likely accept that; without it, they won't (my school didn't even accept my friend's form during trials because it didn't have a medical certificate). Also, if your rank is really good, then it might boost your exam mark (because of the whole half-half thing).
