Why is the Laz's Moderation process so strange???!

Case One
I put assessment Mark 90, and Exam 98. It comes out Moderated Mark 98!

Case Two
I put assessment mark 88, and Exam 90. It comes out Moderated Mark of 95.8222222222

My questions are:
1. Is the moderated mark indicated by the program your Moderated Assessment mark?

2. Why is case 2 so strange??????

It's not fully bug free yet.

He released it a bit early for you people to test it.

If something is really strange, it means something is wrong. When he has the time, which he doesn't now, he will fix it.

Or if i can learn to program php in time I can do it.

For mentioned Case 1, if you only typed in one Assess. and one Exam mark, ie. 90 and 98, then obviously Moderated Assess. would also be 98.

As to Case 2, as Rage pointed out - not bug free.

1. Yes.

2. Case 2 is not a bug, and is in fact correct. The reason why the second mark is set to ~95.8 and not 90 is due to a special limitation that is in place when there are only two students. The lowest moderated mark will be set to be the lowest exam mark, or (x2/x1) * e1, whichever is higher. (x1 and e1 are the top assessment and exam marks respectively.) In this case, 88/90 * 98 ~ 95.8.

Yes, it's free (and will remain that way)... see the link in a previous post.

I've added a few instructions to the page... let me know if they're not clear enough.

Serious??

That shouldn't be happening, unless some of your inputs were also over 100 - tell me your inputs!

I don't remember the exact inputs sorry :(

I was just doing an imaginary class of people, where half the people failed their assessments badly, but all cained the HSC...
