I'm looking to buy a black & white (monochrome) laser printer but don't know what brand is good quality & reliabiable for these types of printers. Any suggestions? Thabks

I am currently a student and it works a treat.

With the HP 12A toner (print cartriage) it does a good job. The cartriage will print about 2000-2500 pages. My latest cartriage lasted me about 8 months

If you on a budget and looking for a bargin, go to officeworks and get one of thoes basic Brother ones. I bought one and got two extra toner for 50 bucks.

^ I work pt at Officeworks - we usually have the Canon 3000 and the Brother HL2040 as the entry-level lasers for around ~150-250. Consumerables are around $100 - ~2,500 prints.

Go to OW and Harris Tech and talk to some of the salesmen. Quickly get them to photocopy you a copy of the FAB sheets so they know you won't be buying today - lowering your chances of them trying to sell you some piece of shit quit-cycle product.
