Hey could any one give my ideas for this assignment i just got?
Read Act 1 Scene 2
1. script a version of a section of the scene which reflects your symbolic representation of the play as a family drama.
2. how would you represent this as a family drama? your representation should focus on:
- costuming
- lighting
- stage props
-language: pause, emphasis

The Ayre's production basically showed Lear as a family play and you could try borrowing some elements from there to work your version. Whatever you do, don't look at Harlos. Dave Ritchie is a stooge.
