From CM&M
'Gather, process and present information on the features of the local town water supply in tems of:
-Chemical tests available to determine levels and types of contaminants'

From all the sites and summaries I've read, none seem to correctly address this dotpoint, they mention some physical tests, and just mention the hardness/pH/ etc but do not say the chemical tests. Can anyone help us out

Chemical tests would be something like precipitating stuff to measure ion levels. eg. measuring sulphate levels.

Physical test would be like filtering dirt out of water.

the chemical test for hardness is too complex to remember, so is the ph probe, and the O2 probe.

this is a student's do dot point anyway.
