I'm terrible at maths and having a real hard time figuring out the Grid Method for my painting. The dimensions for my canvases are 76.5cm x 61.2cm. The photographs I'm working from are 5" x 7". I am so confused... can anyone help me out?

ok so thats 12 x 18 cm =2:3 and 76.5 x 61.2 = 5:4 because they aren't the same ratio,you're going to have to create a border or something.the pic would be 40.8 x 61.2 or if you tuen it the other way round 51 x 76.5
