me too hello other person who does geoI think there's gonna be a structured essay. More worried about skills at the moment
alltho for cssa trial it was structured then an essay so idkI think there's gonna be a structured essay. More worried about skills at the moment
I didn't do cssa but mine was a structured then a normal essay. perhaps this is how the essays are?alltho for cssa trial it was structured then an essay so idk
Yes, that is correct. Section III is a structured extended response, whilst Section IV is an unstructured extended response (both out of 20). The good thing is that you know that one essay will be on ecosystems and global biodiversity, whilst the other will be on rural and urban places (it will never be on global sustainability).I think there's gonna be a structured essay. More worried about skills at the moment
The skills in the new syllabus are almost identical to the previous syllabus. That is, that NESA archive will still be useful for skills.I think there's gonna be a structured essay. More worried about skills at the moment
Do you know where to find the CSSA trial? I can't find any past papers anywhere!alltho for cssa trial it was structured then an essay so idk
i can send it to you if you wantDo you know where to find the CSSA trial? I can't find any past papers anywhere!
where did you find the sample from nesa? Our Geo teacher suggested that cause it's a new syllabus they might lean towards asking the essay question on one of the entirely new sections of the syllabus e.g. Large City outside of Australia (Analyse the challenges facing ONE large city outside of Australia). I also think it's kinda weird a bunch of the Trial Papers (CSSA for example) have not required reference to stimulus in Section III - just judging by the sample from NESA and the fact they wrote "the purpose is for students to connect stimulus to their own knowledge" I reckon there's a good chance all parts will require reference directly to stimulus.
anyway yeah im the same as you completely i get full marks always in every section but skillsI suck so bad at skills its unbelievable, I don't know why I can get near full marks on other sections but skills just goes down the drain![]()
If you go to the Geography Syllabus on the NESA Website go to the Tab "Assessment" and they have a sample HSC paper down the bottom very much recommend doing it!where did you find the sample from nesa?
Thank you so much for this king! Our Geo teacher suggested that cause it's a new syllabus they might lean towards asking the essay question on one of the entirely new sections of the syllabus e.g. Large City outside of Australia (Analyse the challenges facing ONE large city outside of Australia).
