HEY GUYS.


most relevant to CRIME FICTION genre.

so just wanted to see where and what u guys are doing ---in ur own time besides UR SET TEXTS...

i'm basically trying to read from most genres... up to hard boil now and alot of readings on texts.

• how are you studying???
• do you know any good subversion movies?
• should i start looking at writing in different text types ... when should i do that?

1. consistently. at the least three hours a week for extension from now because of the competition between me at first , and the person second to me.

2. the big sleep itself is a subversion! theres more focus placed upon bogart and bacalls relationship in the version we study, than the resolution etc of crime.

most modern crime fiction is subverted in some way really, ie, law and order, the bone collector.

3. im not sure what youre getting at.
essay and creative writing.

no it isn't.

it enacts conventions of hard boil and there are some aspects (initally how we thought lauren beckall character was dangerous in fact wasn't) that are tweaked ...


-----but that does not mean it is a subversion. think you should check what subversion actually means.


look at the golden age film 8 women thats a real subversion.
