What is the main difference between a feature article and a newspaper article? What features does a feature article have that a newspaper article doesn't?

this is just a generalisation but normally newspaper articles use more formal language and are more 'fact based', whereas feature articles are more to do with the writer's opnions/experiences with the subject area, and use less formal language. i associate newspaper articles with newspapers( well, obviously), and therefore reporting etc. and feature articles i tend to associate more with magazines
