Gather, analyse and use available evidence to discuss how difficulties of heating caused by eddy currents in transformers may be overcome

Can someone please give me a quick overview as to which i could elaborate on.

Cheers;)

a) lamination of soft iron core to reduce magnitude of eddy current
b) use of ferrite (i fink, a form of oxide complex of iron/ other substances) cuz they r poor conductors of electricity, but good conductors of magetic flux

It isnt an oxide it is a compound although ferrite oxide is used on magnetic tapes etc.

Ferrite is a compound of Iron, Boron and Barium/Strontium
