hey. did n e one else get put off by the dicuss part of question 3. does dicuss mean for and against. cause i found it hard to find foints for and against.

Yes, as you'll see in the other thread I wrote it as a dialogue instead of an essay because of the discuss part.

(i nearly pissed myself for a moment there, i basically analysed it and ranted about the concept of journeys (no points against) and then made a poor attempt at tying it in with that lame saying)

i was thrown off by the "discuss" too. i asked my teacher after the test and he rekons u can take either side as long as ur chosen texts back up ur point.

yea... but with discuss you can be purely bias i think..
you can just discuss how one side is right.

I did both, but i think you can just do one.

It depends what your texts say. If all of them support the statement (which more or less every single journey text i saw does) then you say that ... otherwise how would you work the negative side into your essay ? It all had to relate to texts, you can't just add in negative points for no reason.
