"Describe the process of eutrophication, and assess the suitability of water tests to monitor it."

It is not specifically a syllabus dot point but it is very possible that this could come up. Any help on this would be appreciated.

1.Process of eutrophication (easy)
2. Identify water quality tests and assess their suitability.

What are those water quality tests?

Cheers

yeh process of eutrophication - water way turn into still water way (lake) then into salt marsh, swamp, then finally dry land...
artifical eutrrophication is the process by which artifical influences speed up this reaction by promoting algea (cyanobacteria) growth over water, which effectively blocks off the oxygen supply under the algea

ways to assess it - p:n ratio... since phorsphorus is usually the limiting agent in the water way, as soon as pn ratio exceeds a certain limit, algea boom's possibility will icnrease
