Hi,

This is one of the question on my dynamics assignment and i've tried a number of ways and it's always wrong. This is the question:

A piece of string PQ passes over a pin as shown. For the instant shown the point Q is moving straight down. The length of string from the pin to P has the angular velocity shown. What angle does the velocity of P make with the x axis? The diagram of the problem is attached.



I would greatly appreciate any help with this, I can't access my online assessed questions until I answer this one which is annoying because i have answers for those, they were much simpler for some reason.
