ok i know there is an announcement to keep the threads organised, hence dont repeat questions, etc. and i know there is a thread already on concepts and understanding of RTFG- paradigms in particular. however i need this to be clear for me. i am doing RFTG. we have done heanys poems and have to read the bone people over the hols. if anyone is doing those texts- can you help me with understading the concept of RFTG in relation to heanys poetry and/or the bone people. also, might i add is it jsut me or is the bone people a difficult book to read- how do i read it? i know stupid qquestion but it is confusing!thanks for any help.

For some general help in understanding the concept of RFTG I suggest you look at the HSC Online site at this link:

http://www.hsc.csu.edu.au/english/extension1/thinking/global/retreat_global/index.html

The first section (Introduction to Retreat from the Global) is very good in helping grasp the initial understanding of RFTG.

Then have a look at the relevant sections for your texts.

I'll be doing a RFTG FAQ sometime soon, please stay tuned. :)
