is computer science better at UNSW or USYD?

USYD has the tallented students programme and Computer Science Advanced (only 10 ppl in course).

UNSW say they focus more on practical outcomes...

does any one have any more comments?

thanks

UNSW and USYD are about the same, more science and research based stuff.

UTS IT is based around business, more practical and the stuff that corperations use.

depends on where you want to go once you grad.

UNSW!!!

We have newer equipment, more emphasis on the department (CSE) and a bigger course.

I've done a year of computer science at both USYD and UNSW, and I much prefer UNSW - it's fun. :)

Whilst UTS probably wins in terms of equipment, the rigour of their degrees (compared with USYD/UNSW) is debateable. I've had the opportunity to peruse the work of many friends there; lower standards.

UNSW just looks smaller on map, It is soooooo...ooooo much bigger. I went to both open days.

I think usyd makes full page map just to make itself look bigger
