This might seem a really basic question; I even suspect it's implicit in UAC documentation, but I would like to know for certain. If you can make a fool of me by providing a blatantly obvious source, please do so.

If you do 11 units and score 70/100 in a 2 unit subject, but in a 1 unit extension subject score 48/50, will they (in calculating the UAI) "cut" the 2 unit subject in half, counting 1 unit of it and the 1 unit extension subject?

In other words, for UAI calculation, will 2 unit maths count at 70/100, or 1 unit of maths at 35/50 and 1 unit of english extension at 48/50?

All subjects are compared on a one unit basis. If a one unit subject has a larger scaled mark then the 2 unit subject and you do 11 units. Then 1 unit from the 2 unit subject will count and the 1 unit from the 1 unit subject will count.
