Ok, so my school's given the open ended investigation on astro for us to complete during the holis. There's the rundown on what the investigation should be about etc and near the bottom of the rundown, it says:

"Use the Harvard system of annotation in the bibliography."

Does anyone have any clue as to what this system is? Cos I checked Harvard University (Not sure if that's what the thing's talking about -.-;) and couldn't find this "system". It would've been great if this was not dued the first day back, cos I could've asked my teacher WTF the Harvard system is >.<;

The Harvard Referencing System is a fairly common referencing system used at most universities. Here is the link to the guide from UNE:

http://www.une.edu.au/tlc/students/publications/referencing.php

It's 6 pages long but a good giude because it gives examples for all the different sorts of things you might want to reference.

Good luck. Doing this now is good training for later when it is essential.

I met up with a friend today and she also explained it to me. That was useful for making the details clearer tho, so thanks very much ^.^
