A friend reckons everyones atar is printed in the paper for the state, this sounds stupid to me cos that is 80k people and would infringe some freedom of information poo somewhere. Anyone know if this is true?

ATARs are not printed
Only you, and only you, will ever know your ATAR

But all band 6s are printed I think

No. ATARs are not even given to your school.

They publish the Distinguished Achievers List (people with band 6s/E4), The Top Achievers in Course List (Top 5, 10 or 20 students in the state in each course), and the All Rounders List (People with 10+ units with Band 6/E4)

The overall band 6 i believe it is :)

band 6? hahaha sounds like some foreign language now. once upon a time it looked achievable.
I'm sure you'd get one for bio :p
