Im not a religious person at all, but its a DAMN good read. For massive poem written 350 years ago its suprisingly easy to read too. Check it out.

I've been meaning to read it, actually.
But now that I'm not at school I don't have access to a library. Tis very sad.

I am currently TRYING to read this but I am having a fair bit of trouble. Poetry always takes a long time to read because it's so indepth, but this, argh, well it blows me away. John Milton writes wonderfully but its so hard to read and is taking me forever.

Has anyone read all of it? (If you have I truly commend you)

I plan on having it read by the end of the school holidays, but I haven't even finished reading the first chapter

ARGH

Towards the end of the first chapter there is a bit where Milton describes Satan's army. I remember that as being totally amazing.

Did I request thee, Maker, from my clay
To mould me man? Did I solicit thee
From darkness to promote me?

i love bits of it too

I'm reading it, slowly but surely

I've read the first 2 books

have a copy all for myself that I am scribbling all over

Fantastic metaphors and allusions to historical events!
