If I majored in computer science in the B Sc/ B arts degree is it the same thing as just doing B Comp Sci? Just with the added bonus of having the extra B arts degree?

I was originally going to the the B comp sci course but i really want to do arts as well, and rather than just doing arts electives when i have free electives during the b comp sci course i can have a double degree...

Anyone doing either degrees, to give me come insight?! I'd appreciate it!!!

UAC preferences close today so I'm having a bit of meltdown on what i should do!

There are some subtle differences between BCST and BSc majoring in computer science. Without going into excessive details, BSCT requires more IT subjects over the duration of the degree, while the BSC will "force" you to do stuff other than maths and IT (at least in the earlier years). The difference in the number of IT subjects is not huge.

If you particularly have your heart set on Arts side of things, then BSc (majoring in Comp Sc) / BA appears to meet your needs better.
