    Immu2101

I'm tossing up whether or not to take IMMU2101 next year in Semester 1, and am looking for some comments on it. Is there anyone here who has taken it before or heard anything about it? What's it all about? What do you get to do? Any insight will be much appreciated :) Thanks!

    What to bring to lectures

yeah, where are the lecture notes published?

    best scaling subjects?

Look, if I was you I would forget about scaling and what subjects scale better than others. I took a few low-ranking subjects and did just as well as many of those who did high-ranking subjects. Choose subjects that you will enjoy, and therefore be motivated to study for and work hard...

    Walking from Redfern Station

The person who posted that comment is the same person involved in a "who's still drunk" thread. I'd say, ignore it ;)

    Walking from Redfern Station

So it's: Lawson Street, left onto Abercrombie Street, right onto Shepperd Lane, and you're there? Is that where the boardwalk is?

    Walking from Redfern Station

Thanks :) I'm just a bit jittery about the whole 'starting uni' and 'enrollment' thing. The last thing I want is to follow a bunch of non-students, not going to USYD, and end up lost haha.

    Walking from Redfern Station

Hi all :) Just wondering of those who walk from Redfern Station to the Darlington campus, which route do you take? I'm worried I'll get lost as I've only walked it once and can't really remember how to get there >< Replies asap would be appreciated!

B Medical Science VS B Science

Thanks for your input! So Med Sci is more of a pathway for those who don't meet the ATAR requirements for 1st year Med/Dent. Thinking I've made a good decision in changing my 1st pref to B Sci.

B Medical Science VS B Science

Wow! Big choices huh. Mmm, I got a very similar ATAR as you. I understand what you mean about "using" your ATAR, and I totally relate...but I guess you've got to go with your heart, because in 2nd year university, your ATAR will mean very little unless you are intending on transferring. So do...

B Medical Science VS B Science

I changed my 1st pref from B Med Sci to a B Sci, as I have read/heard that the latter is much more flexible in the way of being able to choose electives each year, in comparison to this only being possible in your 3rd year for Med Sci students. I'm looking for some pro's/con's when it comes to...

    Personalities....

My school studied Albert Speer - loved the very OPEN part a, and for part b I took a "events shape people more than people shape events" stance (past HSC question). Felt good with part a, and relatively okay with b. Not too sure if my argument was strong enough for b.

    G to the ERMANY

I agree! I went for B and LOVED IT :D:D:D:D I kept going back to the impact, even though I did venture into the centralisation of culture in the Reich Chamber of Culture by Goebells, though I'm not sure if that counts under 'repression'. I just said that it was a way of controlling and...

    cfs exam?

I would have hated the Groups in Context 15mark question too, but VERY lucky for my class, that was basically the same question as for our trial :) All in all, I thought it was okay. Some dodgy MCQ's, and that last short answer was a little strange (with the graph of 0-4yo's). I wrote...

    General Thoughts: Biology

Re: Hsc 2009 bio exam This question was basically the exact dotpoint for the prac. I think it was research + becoming familiar with the plant diseases and their appearances, and then collecting plant leaves, etc to compare research info with actual specimens.

    General Thoughts: Biology

Re: Hsc 2009 bio exam I think it was only 1 mark, and you probably answered it because I'm pretty sure it had lines to write the answer on - like the space for the pedigree, and then the explanation thing was a separate question beneath.

what are the critical readings of hamlet

well i know that you should have some critics' views of the play to draw on, and support your arguments. e.g. samuel coleridge (romanticism), and also some productions of the play to similarly support your argument :)
