Re: Post your Semester 2 timetable When do the timetable people turn up at Madsen? I seem to recall it being a week or so before the semester starts, but is it earlier than that? Stupid online system's not letting me make the changes that I want (and seem to be possible)

oh i forgot about tunnels. that should be included in my list. the old version of No Cars Go was one of my favourite Arcade Fire songs, which is probably why I like the new version as well

maybe I need to listen to it more, but I'm a bit disappointed by it. I reckon it lacks the magic of some songs from Funeral, like Laika, Rebellion, Wake Up, and Power Out... maybe because its a darker and more restrained. hopefully it will grow on me... I like Neon Bible and the redone version...

was it Silent Alarm or the new one? the first i think is much better, the second one has its moments, but also sounds very cheesy in some parts

actually the usyd timetable system does have class size caps doesn't it? When a class becomes full the entry becomes blue in the centralised timetable site and you won't be put in it. At least thats the experience I've had. I agree the usyd timetabling system could be better. Is what they do...

hate to drag this on, but the lunch was awesome in 2005! in fact, at every formal science faculty event i've been to (transition workshop, TSP events) the lunch has been pretty good, and they're always run by the marketing department, they must know some good caterers. don't know where this...

It wasn't just pumpkin sandwhiches? that might have been the vegetarian option.... they also had chicken and fish rolls which were nice

Try emailing someone at the Science Faculty and tell them your problem... they might be able to bend some requirements, especially if you're already strong in Maths. Science (will know more about the maths major) http://www.usyd.edu.au/handbooks/science/01_contactinformation.shtml...

actually maybe the problem isn't with the accounting major itself, but CPA/CA accreditation. I remember when I was looking at it a few years ago, one of the two (can't remember which) required ECMT1010. The problem might be then that the maths major requires MATH1005. Since you can't do both...

and of course if you want to become a practising psychologist you'll have to do an extra two years of study or supervised experience on top of your science with honours, so that would end up being 8 years for someone in a combined degree program.

hey, I've finished 2 years of this degree and pretty much plan to do the same thing as you (psyc major for science with honours). Triangulum is right, you can complete your honours in the middle of your combined degree as long as you've completed the requirements for the particular degree...
