Yeah I hope so too. That would have been a good idea actually, I would have much preferred a room full of first years. Not knowing anyone is going to be a bit tough for me at first, but yeah, hopefully get to meet some of you.

I was in the same situation yesterday. I thought it might have just been a one off thing, seems as though its Unilodge in general. I move in fully next Friday, and I will be doing the same, take my mum with me to clean it up. lol. I am also generally pretty tidy. I just can't believe people...

Bleh... I Just went and bought a heap of stuff to get that place in shape. I don't do filth...

I'm not entirely sure on the specifics, but they just told me that yeah, gotta clean it yourself, they offer a vacuum and that... Lol

Yeah my bedroom was clean and everything. There were cleaners going around, but reception said they only do the bedrooms not the rest of the appartment, that's for students. Looks like I will be the one cleaning it anyway... And vacuum! God, have some people never heard of one or something?!! I...

Ok... I just went and got my room and stuff sorted out at unilodge... Like the bedroom, it's nice. Butttttt the appartment, like, the kitchen, bathroom, lounge room, filthy. I was really disgusted and disappointed. Like, the fridges had disgusting shit all through it, the cupboards were filthy...

Yeah I ended up calling them for confirmation that they had received payment. They just checked their database and everything was right to go, they said I could start moving stuff in anytime from today.

I'm so sick of hearing people bitch and whinge about getting Unilodge... As if you give up going to uni all together just because you got Unilodge!! How stupid is that?? I understand if it's a money issue, but if it's because you are worried about the social atmosphere, get over it. Get out...
