    Having trouble finishing an exam

Maths is coming up an I'm feeling the panic!! I keep finding I'm having difficulty completely finishing an exam in 3 hours and my friends keep telling me this is normal but is it really??? Are they just saying this to calm me down???? I get the exam is meant to be hard but wouldn't most...

    Tim Riley Graphs

I use both Dixon and Riley to study for economics however some of the graphs in the Riley textbook are pretty confusing and don't show up in the Dixon textbook, eg. inflationary/deflationary gap, fiscal policy and budget outcomes (which looks especially crazy). At school we use the Dixon...

    integrating to ln

This might be a dumb question but evaluating \int \frac{1}{4x+4} becomes this right \frac{ln(4x+4)}{4} But if you factor out a quarter from the start to get \frac{1}{4} \int \frac{1}{x+1} then it becomes \frac{ln(x+1)}{4} Now I'm pretty sure these answers aren't the same so...

    EMF involving H+ ions?

    How did you get 1.22V for MnO2 + 4H+ + 2e- → Mn2+ + 2H2O?? This equation isn't present on the standard potentials data sheet?

    EMF involving H+ ions?

So I disregard the H2O part??

    EMF involving H+ ions?

I can do basic questions asking to calculate EMFs such as Sn + Mg2+ → Sn2+ + Mg where you'd just write the 2 half equations and then use the table of standard potentials but the ones involving water make no sense to me at all. For example, MnO2 + 2I- → Mn2+ + I2 + 2H2O I can get as far as...

    Journey To The Interior- Discovery???

So we were given a task by our teacher where we basically just had to write an essay to answer this question; ‘Discoveries may compel individuals to affirm, or challenge, their perspectives on themselves and the wider world.’ To what extent does this statement reflect the ideas represented...
