Okay this was my reasoning for my graph: I said as eddy currents are induced on the copper plate, causing it to slow down. but then, the trolley passes through the magnet, and the direction of the eddy currents are then switched, causing it to experience a force in the opposite direction...

for the satellite in orbit question with the forces acting on it. was it the one with only gravity?

carrotsticks, for the probability question, if i got the answer by stating that 7C5 - 6 = 6C4 (just by speculation using calculator), will I still get 1/1?

i used the force to find WORK W=Fs then equated this value to kinetic energy: E=1/2mv^2 to find velocity

it was superconductors not semi conductors I said that because superconductors exhibit 0 electrical resistance, they can be used to produce extremely strong and intense magnetic fields needed to accelerate the protons to such high velocities.

For explaining why the website was wrong about the electron path, did we only have to say that it would be deflected towards the positive plate rather than negative? or was there more to it. I was really confused cos I didnt think that would be worth 3 marks?
