    how much did you write?

I struggled to find 3+ positive aspects of AC gens on the environment. For the disadvantages.. Stuff from chem helped quite a bit lol

Ok, when the Ring moves into the field, the field lines passing through the ring is increasing correct? So according to lenz's law, this will induce an EMF which will produce another magnetic field which opposed this increase, ie creates a magnetic field out of the page to counteract this...

20 should be D, i almost got tricked as well. Look at what it says, GPE is halved. Say it was originally -1, now its -0.5....Now if you think about it this signifies it has moved closer to infinity, ie the radius is now 2r not r/2

Same lol, gotta get through the option module for Phys. My argument was mainly influenced by the fact that the numero uno in my school (Ranked top 10) put D. What did you put anyway Khorne?

Well quoting from here http://www.saskschools.ca/curr_content/chem30_05/6_redox/redox2_5.htm An activity series list metals and various other elements in order of their reactivity, with the most reactive elements at the top and the least reactive of the series at the bottom. For any two metals...

Impossibru!! Never heard of such a preposterous claim about "absolute values" in the 4-5 different sets of chem notes/books i have so... yea.. I am quite confident "electrochemical activity" simply is BOS's convoluted way of saying "Reactivity" in which case, D would be correct.

Re: Chem How HARD!! That industrial chem question about liquid X. I said Copper Sulfate lost its blue colour upon dehydrating, is this actually correct? Ive had a few people told me the blue colour darkens..which i highly doubt.

Sealed container suggests it was keeping something out (Moisture) Hydrated copper sulfate was in the bowl Liquid seperate from copper sulfate so it couldnt have had a major chemical reaction with the sulfate Ie only logical possibility out of the three substances we learnt about in Industrial...

Read my explanation..How much it ionises doesn't matter in the slightest. Think of it in terms of an equilibrium reaction, as H+ ions are used up, more acid will be ionised to form H+.

    questions about industrial chemistry.

Hmm you have a point there, i am no longer sure :) However, i havent ever heard of a set threshold defining what is conc/dilute when we talk about NaCl Solution so its all rather subjective. On second thought you guys are probably correct. Ahh well

    questions about industrial chemistry.

It didnt state diluted but in the prac we did in class, we use concentrated. Also, if you assume it is dilute the bit where they tell you it is electrolysis of Sodium Chloride would be rather pointless wouldnt it?

Anode was the oxidation of Chlorine ions producing chlorine gas bubbles as observed Cathode was the reduction of water producing hydrogen gas bubbles as observed. I was a bit confused at first about the red/blue thing, then assumed that the litmus paper was red in neutral/acidic solutions. So...
