both are true. You need to show the ranks, but you also need to show the person who came first with their mark and compare it to yours.

^ you can't just estimate someones ranks without knowing their school rank. They could be top 100, or top 500. That is will be a major factor in estimating his actual ATAR... So, what's your school's ranking?

okay I got my half yearlies back, and these are my current ranks (including first term and half yearlies). 2/34 modern history 3/73 2u maths 12/32 economics 6/35 business studies 20/59 advanced english. My school is ranked 96th. Any estimations are much appreciated!
