    How Have You Changed?

I have changed so much due to the HSC. I've found that I've matured and also become more accepting of situations. Before, I would complain a lot. But now, I just accept it and move on. I've also realised who my real friends are. I can't wait until I don't have to see the shitheads that...

What pen have you been using for you HSC exams?

True. I use a pen from the intercontinental hotel that's, like, 99% natural materials or whatever. It works like a charm and I found it the morning of the English exam.

Was Text 3, Section 1 a Dog or Human??

Re: The Poem Was About A Dog? That's what I said in the response, but I was just saying what I thought I guess that also Darwin could be reffering to Charles Darwin and the Beagle as his ship... oh well, I'll probably fail anyway

Was Text 3, Section 1 a Dog or Human??

Re: The Poem Was About A Dog? Umm, didn't the text say something about a Beagle? They're a dog used at airports and the last stanza talked about aeroplanes... and those dogs are good with smell, and it discussed smells a lot. Maybe I'm wrong, but I didn't mention wether it was human or not...

    memoir, speech or story?

I did the story. "Curious Traveller" fitted really well with a story that I had written a few days before, so I tried to recreate it. Unfortunately, I don't think it worked out how I wanted it to. Oh well

    HSC and Family Pressure/Expectations

Re: How many people are in the situation of having to live up to famil expectations Neither of my parents went to a conventional university. Mum went to the Conservatorium of Music and Dad did a cadetship. They both were "requested to attend". Me, I'll be lucky to get into my last...

Study music - Post bands (or artists)

Forgot to mention Debussy and Beethoven. It really relaxes me and gets me contemplating things I never would have originally thought of. Followed closely by Death Cab For Cutie. When studying English, I listen to my RORTs that are songs on repeat. It's annoying, but they get stuck in my...

How are you going to do study for the HSC exams?

problem with just memorising the syllabus is that you don't know how to apply the stuff in it. That's why past papers are good, coz you learn how to use what you know Also, if you just memorise the syllabus, you end up failing, like I'm going to...

whats everyone doing for their major works?

Everyone's ideas sound really good. I can't wait to hear what everone gets. I'm doing "Amazon Warrior Women: Fact or Fiction?" It's really interesting, but hard trying to distinguish the myths from the facts. Just a suggestion to everybody in Sydney, Maquarie Uni library is stocked full of...

The Apporaches to history over time

I'm really confused. I'm doing history extension for my HSC and I'm stuck on one of the main focus questions. So, does anyone want to tell me: why have approaches to history changed over time? I'm fine with all the others, just this one has me stumped. Much appreciated... If I get answers
