    Adfa

Actually, it's pretty much voluntary if you wanna do stuff like that. Also I can't imagine they'd need engineer lieutenants to act in as riflemen... Not to mention, we're pulling out of Iraq anyways

    Adfa

Lol, true, but it can also be pretty good thing... Did a mention cheap grog? Dirt cheap grog?

    Adfa

Heck yes there are massive advantages of going to ADFA. (And by the way, if you're in the employ of the government, you're actually part of the public sector, private sector is privately owned and operated businesses) Basically at ADFA, you're getting paid to study a degree, but at the same...

    Adfa In Unsw....pilot???????

Well if you join ADFA, you can get a degree paid for and it's usually the best way for school leavers or recent school leavers to become officers and then pilots. Direct entry to become a pilot, does involve going to officer's training school in Victoria. I don't think that they'd expect you...

give me info about real estate

Erm... I really shouldn't be replying coz this thread is pretty much in the wrong spot. To be a real estate agent.. you don't need any schooling pretty much. It's a sales position, I'm a receptionist for a real estate agency and all you need to do is give them a resume' and have a brief...

    Option: Medical Physics

Whoops, I did actually mean ultrasound the heel, instead of bone scan.

    physics exam

Aye, I did that too, but should have used 10cm because that was the radius...

    anyone else de-motivated?

Here's another way of looking at it... they're chumps, they don't have you around to celebrate. You've had more time to study and you're doing a course that I reckon aligns pretty well. That, and the test is tomorrow, smile... you're almost there. You have the rest of your life to party.

    Option: Medical Physics

Yeah, the best answer probably would have been bone scan and/or CAT scan or X-rays. Mostly because acoustic impedance is masured by density etc etc etc.. which means you can calculate your bone density from ultrasounding the heel. This is the best option as you can actually diagnose...

    Raw Band Cut offs

It varies from subject to subject... i.e. a few years ago in physics an exam mark of 87 was aligned to 95... But that doesn't matter as it's not calculated in your UAI... so the best thing to do is not think that you can sell yourself short... just do the best you can.

    physics exam

I asked my teacher... said that 12 wost most likely A, 15 D and 10 was C only because it said calculating the velocity of raido waves relative to light.

    Current Unemploymen rate and NAIRU

Also, just explaining how we were operating under the NAIRU for so long without a great deal of inflationary pressures. The most likely explanation is that the fall in the unemployment rates has been slow over the past decade, allowing the economy more time to assimilate (for lack of a better...

    'Direct' and 'indirect' trade

Certainly, I'm not sure if this is exactly what your after; But in the global economsy we have direct and indirect (otherwise known as 'technical') barriers to trade. Direct is all the obvious artifical barriers to trade that to gov't set up. I.e. tarrifs and subsidies etc. However under...

    Random Question

    a) From the equation F= (G x m1 x m2)/ d^2 Therefore, it depends on the mass of the two masses and the dist. between the two masses. b) No, special relativity, that's why! (i.e. because Einstein said so :P) Lol, nah, basically the speed of light, c, is the universal constant, time gets...

    Slingshot Effect

K, you can actually think about this rather logically... If the probe passes Venus, the gravitational pull of Venus pulls the probe towards it slighty, which makes it appear to go a little bit slower to Venus. However, if it's pulling it towards Venus, it's still pulling it away from the Sun...

    Feas

Yeah, I think DipSET is a half good idea, but only for the people who really have the marks that look like they mightn't be that strong in any sort of engineering course. (i.e. my friend that applied for Feas that does gen maths, stan. english and no science courses) Lol, why is the dropout...

    Feas

Oh yeah, the DipSET bs... They told that to me and this other guy I know, it's some course than you can do if you're too dumb to meet the UAI you need, and it's basically a 12 month intro into engineering, but it's at a much lower level, it adds 12 months to your degree, but because of the...
