i'm not in adv science but a word of advice, DO NOT do software at usyd unless u REALLY like programming or have done it before (don't know about COSC though). they pretty much just throw u in the deep end and let u figure every thing out. just a warning

do they just keep on sending out letter until all the ssp places are full? because i was thinking there'd be alot of ppl who don't want to continue with chem next yr who would have gotten an invite to ssp

what do u plan to major in for science adv? just make sure you do (some or all) of those subjects in first yr. btw u DO NOT need to do any first yr advanced subjects only 2nd and 3rd yr advanced subjects. (i.e 29xx and 39xx subjects) and read both handbooks and you'll figure it out.
