I found myself struggling for time to complete the whole thing. There were some parts that I didn't complete, and I guessed about 6 Multiple choice questions, but I ended up finishing all the stuff I could do with a few mins to spare.

There was a typo. They said we had to draw a horizontal line through 300, but that means he made a $300 profit after he spent $300, but thats incorrect. He made a $300 loss, as he had not done any parties at that stage. The lines do not meet.

You do have to know them. X-Modem and Y-Modem are different protocols for error detection. Check your textbook - it will tell you that:
X-Modem: Sends a packet and waits for the acknowledgement of the receiving computer before either retransmitting the same pack in response to a negative...
Yea - I am the same - I am going to do a little bit of study for it, but I do 6 units of computers all up, and what I learn in the others can basically be used in IT (plus it all comes pretty naturally to me too, which helps)
I thought that the paper was excellent. I love it and I think my pen does too. Unfortunately, I have done three exams and I am running out of ink. I used about 3 cm of ink in my pen in my Business Studies exam today!
I wrote 4 pages and 6 pages (29). I was scared when I read the front cover (Use pencils for diagrams), as I did not bring a pencil - did we actually have to draw anything????!!!?!?!?
