which will be better: XBOX 360 OR PS3?

The only real advantage the PS3 has is that it's a Blu-Ray DVD player for under a grand. The Wii blows them both out of the water.

    Unconventionally Attractive Celebrities

I agree with you on that point actually. Before she was all "I like girls and think everyone should sleep around" to be popular and edgy she was much better. Though I still think she's attractive.

    Unconventionally Attractive Celebrities

He's really conventional, yeah, but I actually don't find him attractive at all. He looked good in Pirates of the Carribean, but when he's freshly groomed I don't find him good looking.

Group work, and why it sucks!

Tell you stories about group work here. (I was told in a class today that we have group assignments) Last year, I was taking a marketing class, and there was a 25-page report due, 5 people in the group, so we decided to do 5 pages each. The morning it was due (due at 7pm) everyone sent me...

    losing weight?

Re: Are YOU trying to lose weight? I've just started wanting to lose weight, as I've gained weight since starting uni. I'm trying to eat more healthily, and am starting to go to the gym after every Tuesday night class.

    Undecided on majors....

Marketing or International Business, I'd suggest. Probably best to do something related to your major, as it gives you a bigger advantage in the job market. Though, the more romantic part of me tells me to simply do whatever your heart tells you to do.

    Commerical printing

I've used saltprint as well and would vouch for them. The work is good quality for the price, and the online ordering makes everything simpler!

The Official 2006 FIFA World Cup thread.

I heard that they Ivory Coast actually halted a civil war when they qualified so that they could watch it in peace. Thus, if it's true, I'm going to be cheering for them in their group!

Man vs. Machine, Mundine vs. Green

As disappointed as I am that Mundine won, there is no chance that a rematch would result in any different outcome. Green is just too old now, at 33 his prime is past. Mundine is still young enough to be able to beat him.

NRL : The Official NRL Thread 2006

You'd think people so obviously and constantly under public scrutiny would be able to control themselves a little bit more than attack workers at a service station. *sigh* At least Sailor was in Union, so this isn't a second blemish in a week for the NRL...

Murali > Warne -- says Flintoff

I guess we just have a different opinion than you on this. I feel if a person is born with a defect that breaks the rules, they shouldn't be allowed to play. It keeps the game fair, at least in my opinion.

    The Official Cricket Thread 2006/2007

Games like that are absolutely amazing. It's the reason I first got into cricket: my first match was one in which Australia beat England by only one or two runs... I was on the edge of my seat for the entire game!

    State of Origin 06

Yeah, but (at least in my opinion) they aren't the absolute best on their respective teams. And, as was mentioned before, Queensland's team isn't as offensive as NSWs, and as NSW has a very strong team, even a good defense won't be enough to hold them back. But hey, we'll see. :)

Murali > Warne -- says Flintoff

Apologies, I was under the impression Murali hurt his arm 3 or 4 years back in an accident, I didn't know he was born that way. There are many sports, such as cross country skiing, where if a person is born with too much hemoglobin they are barred from competition from say the Olympics. I know...

    State of Origin 06

I'd say NSW by 12 as well. They do have a stronger team, I don't think Queensland has much of a chance. Here's a list of the players selected, for those who haven't heard: NSW Blues Fullback: Brett Hodgson (Tigers) Wing: Matt King (Storm) Centre: Mark Gasnier (Dragons) Centre...

    The Official Cricket Thread 2006/2007

Well I suspect there may be a clause in the contract that he still has to play cricket. He won't see as much money if he quits now. All he'll have to do is wait this deal out and he's definitely set for life.

Murali > Warne -- says Flintoff

And many other athletes have had injuries preventing them from continuing their careers. Why should the rules be changed for Murali? As for who is better? Warne. Not only are his results excellent, especially for one getting on in years but I'm a big fan of his style, which biases me somewhat.
