    Exchange Year 13???!!!

Well I know this is a bit delayed but Just look into your local rotary club. If you talk to them they should let you know whether or not they send people on exchange or they may let you know of another club. Thats really all you have to do. If you know any rotarians just talk to them. I am at...

    Tommorrow when the War Began

I think that it all depends on how well the movie is made and things like that. I have to say Sarah everytime I watch that trailer I get shivers up my spine. Excellent work.

    Places to live, need ideas

Helsinki is a nice city. Not easy to get lost. Good public transport. I am living in Turku which is the 3rd biggest city in Finland. It's not bad. Small though after Sydney and impossible to get lost in. Finland is a really expensive country in general even compared to the rest of Europe and...

    Europe

Well I went quite a bit around Europe in june. I think Copenhagen, Denmark and Tallinn, Estonia were my two favourite cities. Prague was really nice and I want to go back and so was Berlin. I think if you can't get as far north as Tallinn then you should at the very least visit Copenhagen. I...

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

Legham I'm not finnish... I'm Australian...and I'm female. I'm just in Finland on exchange... Maybe I didn't think any bits really dragged on because my English is so crap at the moment that I had to think more about what they were saying to understand properly. The final battle was...

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

I saw this movie yesterday night as it came out a day earlier in Finland to Australia and it was freaking awesome! I loved it! Much better than the first two and it didn't drag on like the second one did a bit.

    Europe DisneyLand(Paris)

Hmm I have the opportunity to go there next month as well. I am trying to decide Disneyland or The Louvre... which one should I go for? And would it be more fun going in a group(probably a fair size group) or not? I think one of my friends wants to go to the Louvre rather than Disneyland. I...

    Best Luggages?

I have Paklite. They are meant to be the lightest bag for the quality or something And they also have the wheels and the handle to pull them along with. Pretty damn good if you ask me. I fit all my stuff for this year pretty much in my suitcase no problems.

    european winter

Well depending on where you are European Winter can be fucking cold! I arrived in Finland in the middle of winter. The day after it started snowing in Helsinki and the coldest temperature I felt was -30'c. If you come as far north as Scandinavia be prepared for really cold weather. Don't plan on...

What is the best trilogy of books or series?

For some reason S For Silence sounds familiar...though I haven't read it. Are they like mystery type thriller crime stories or something? Tamora Peirce is an awesome author... her stories are a mix of Medieval with just the right dose of fantasy. Dave Farland's Runelords series is very...

    World Order

I did Family as my first topic last year and then World Order as the last topic last year. Personally I preferred World Order. It was I think alot easier than Family.

The 'Tomorrow' Series and the 'Ellie Chronicles'

I absolutely love the Tomorrow series and the Ellie Chronicles as well. I think they are all good books but the Tomorrow series has more appeal in that it has more action in it. The nature of what the Ellie Chronicles is about means that there is less action but it is interesting in its own...

    Why do you read?

I'm not quite sure. I think it started off as an entertainment type thing and I got hooked. These days for me it is a release and something to do when i don't have anything else to do. I have read the Harry Potter books and although i've read all of them they aren't really of that great an...

How would you rate Pompeii & Herculaneum?

I like it actually and find it fairly interesting for the most part. Pompeii is actually what got me interested in history really so it's not that bad for me. I don't really have that much written in my book about it and we haven't gotten as many sheets as i would have expected either. My school...
