i swear i only had 5 min of reading time for adv in the trials since when was it 10?i read the long response first bc it helps me organise it into themes if that makes sense. like what i need to remember. then i read mc. if i have time, i choose the hardest mc or hardest sa that i think will stump me and attempt those in my head. also helps wth integration to just think abt what formulas i will need. wbu
since alwaysss. ive been on a rampage bc y does maths get 10 but not bio? or bus for that matter?i swear i only had 5 min of reading time for adv in the trials since when was it 10?
for trial I just did Multiple choice in my head, but now might spend just 5min of MC, 5min reading the last 2 or 3 questions. if i'm gonna lose marks it's gonna be on those questions, so it's worth the time trying the possibility of finding the click which takes you to the solution just eyeballing it. if it's something like 2021 Q34 that can be done just in your head.i read the long response first bc it helps me organise it into themes if that makes sense. like what i need to remember. then i read mc. if i have time, i choose the hardest mc or hardest sa that i think will stump me and attempt those in my head. also helps wth integration to just think abt what formulas i will need. wbu

yess i swear every teacher is like read the long response first so ur brain does it in ur head while u do mc. ngl i dont think my brain can multifunction like that but its a good thoughtfor trial I just did Multiple choice in my head, but now might spend just 5min of MC, 5min reading the last 2 or 3 questions. if i'm gonna lose marks it's gonna be on those questions, so it's worth the time trying the possibility of finding the click which takes you to the solution just eyeballing it. if it's something like 2021 Q34 that can be done just in your head.
wait u guys r scaring me this can't be tested in hsc rightisn't that when an AP and Gp is combined like in the question the AP series is 1+2+3+4... and GP is 1/6 + 1/6 ^2 ....
I've only seen these questions in like harder school trial papers otherwise they aren't that common
no its just like a cheat sheet ifykwim all the stuff thats not in the reference sheet and like personal tips n stuff when doing questionsdamn u do notes for adv? i tried but i lowkey didnt know what to do them on
defo financial math is one of the hardest like the loan payment interest earned stuff, then you have the applied trig questions like the ferris wheel thing, and finally you have the min max questions (check last question of 2024). those are the big 3guys can u list all the hard topics bc i wanna checklist all the stuff ive covered
