hellooo idk if u guys saw my past posts but i had a think about it and im not too sure if I want to become a vet because its very high stress and I dont do too well with gory things, still i have loved animals since I was young so I looked into becoming an animal nutritionist and I'm pretty sure I can still work around animals yippee so do you guys think I should do Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (https://www.sydney.edu.au/courses/courses/uc/bachelor-of-animal-and-veterinary-bioscience.html) or Bachelor of Science with Animal Health, Disease and Welfare (https://www.sydney.edu.au/courses/courses/uc/bachelor-of-science.html) major?

hello! idk if you're still wondering about this but i'm currently doing bvb/dvm at usyd and have some friends in the bachelor of animal and vet bioscience (avbs) course. from what i've gathered, there's not a lot of difference between the two degrees you mentioned and most (if not all) of the first/second year units are shared between bvb, avbs and bsc in animal health. the courses are pretty structured especially in first year and later on is when you choose your electives to better reflect your area of interest (e.g. nutrition). that said, i feel avbs may be more closely connected with the animal science side of things since so many of the units are shared with bvb but it's a good idea to look at the handbooks for each degree to check out which units you can choose.

as for the gory stuff - unfortunately you're out of luck there, we all have to do foundational bio units which involve dissections...
if you have any questions feel free to ask!
