woahhhh ahahahah I'm jelly. nah jk, my parents have eased the academic pressure slightly in recent years and become more open to the detrimental impacts it can have on mental health so at least there's that. still won't let me have guy friends but little do they know...
Parents had high expectations until i had a complete mental breakdown in front of them when they said they were really disappointed in me (I got a B on an exam). I think that’s the moment they realised they failed me. Now they don’t give a shit what I get as long as I go to uni

omgggg same lol, i completely stopped going to school in year 11 and would cry daily until they understood what i was going thru.

Do you speak Tamil at all? I was taught a bit of Tamil by my friends back in high school. Speaking-wise, I actually found it to be a relatively easy language to learn :)
Yes!! I can speak tamil & kannada and understand a bit here and there (hindi malayalam telegu)
