Well, my school is doing core 2 first, so I can't really help you, but just follow the syllabus? The focus questions are a bit vague, so just bascially use all the syllabus points and write about everything in there. It also couldn't hurt to make extra notes (on social justice) much better to do...

Well, I don't do romanticism, but Wordsworth's I Wandered Lonely As a Cloud is all about oneness with nature. A lot of people were doing that at my school... Keats' Ode To A Nightingale is pretty, that's about an imaginative escape, kind of haha.

Hmm... I'd probably integrate it more. Like: Intro, Related 1, Link to Core, Related 2, Link to core etc. But if you havn't been losing any marks, then why stop now? You could ask a teacher if they think you need to though.
