Hi all,
Okay, so I admit that "Maths department hates 2U students" is a bit of an overstatement but its not far from the truth. I feel like the 2U students are not being adequately prepared for assessment tasks and are given a bit of a '2nd class citizen' treatment. We're not being prepared...
This question has been asked so many times, but how does one get a 90+ in the UMAT? Are there any tips you could give me? Is starting to study for it now too late, because I only finalised what I wanted to do very recently? How should you go about studying for it? Please help, someone!
Hi all,
So, I'm currently getting back marks for my assessments I did in Term 4 and 2 subjects (Maths 2U, English Adv) are very poor and one of them is meh (Chemistry). I feel so downtrodden and just so depressed and keep thinking that I've screwed up any chances of getting a good atar...
I can't really pinpoint what exactly I 'struggle' with. I have never really struggled in class or with understanding any concepts, but like I said, somehow cannot reciprocate this in tests.

I don't really mind chem, but it is quite hard. Its interesting and all, but I'm not sure if I can deal with the difficulty. Currently I'm about in the middle of my cohort.

In order of how well I'm doing in them:
English Advanced (:awesome:)
Maths
Biology
Chemistry
Modern History
Maths EXT 1 (will drop)
Please share your experiences and how you're going!
That's what I've heard from a lot of people. Whilst doing General Maths now might get you the ATAR, it will in no way help out during uni (I mean come on, they do area and perimeter!) I have decided to do 2U because Ext 1 is just far too difficult and too much work just for that one unit. Maths...
thanks guys :) I've decided to drop maths extension, but only at the end of year 11, hopefully some of the content I've learnt in extension this year with help me with 2u next year!
