My area of study is in the 2nd band (annual cost is about $7000). If I choose to pay upfront will that mean that I will get a 20% discount and have to pay $5600 instead? Is that what most people do?

even though you werent offered your first preference, its possible that others might reject their offer, and so leave vacancies for you to fill... i have a similar dilemma :(

the uai cutoff would be around 96. thats because i heard someone with that uai got into CSP pharm

its like the funnel effect... as you go further into your degree at uni, it gets harder to get into med because there is a lot more competition. if you desperately want to do med, repeat yr 12 and do it at UWS in 2007. UWS apparently poached one of the med professor from melbourne to teach...

w00t! i've "graduated" from tipps =) But to be honest the english tutor was crap simply because he had too many students to deal with esp. when his teaching most texts from the modules. He knows what his talking about tho.. Maths @ tipps is the best (and i've been to many tutors). the guy...

You have to get a good score in STAT and have a good UAI to get into usyd pharm. UMAT is not required for entry into usyd pharm but i think it is require in one of the victorian unis

i got a letter from the optom faculty today saying that there will be 30 places available next year and the cut off for school leavers this yr is estimated to be 99.50!!! OR you could do BSci and transfer into second year optom in 2007 just curious... could it be that fewer optometrist...

Perhaps this might have something to do with the system "dumbing-down", I heard something about that earlier this year
