Yes but is having a self-taught knowledge valid in the eyes of a company looking to hire you? I am getting a ACST/Comp Sci double degree for this very reason. I want to be able to use the programming skills I acquire during my Computer Science degree for modelling, forecasting etc.

Yeh let me tell you, it isn't fun redoing stats. I was pissed off to not get a D in it this time though .. missed out by 2 marks. Other than that I got a D in ACCG253 and was 3 off a HD for MATH136 (thought I had nailed the final exam, but oh well)

We just did this in ACCG253. If you don't learn it again during the course, there is no way I could see myself remembering it by the end of my degree :|
