Yes, it would help at the beginning of your paragraph. But make sure you only put things down that are relevant to the artist's practice such as historical, cultural or personal events.

\cos^{-1/2} just equals 120 degrees or 2/3 pi. You just punch the number into your calculator. (I didn't know this either until a week or so before the exam)

Personally, I find that there is more use in a PS3 - you can watch Bluray, connect it up to watch tv and of course, play games. Keep in mind though, if you're into games like Halo, they're Xbox exclusives. The graphics are genrally the same across both platforms - have fun!
