hey i am thinking of possibly doing actuarial studies, but am a bit worried about the difficulty of the course and the high dropout rates would anyone roughly know how many first years end up becoming fully qualified as an actuarist? thanks

ah so is engineering design/innovation all groupwork? also how do people rate the use of course notes as the only resource in maths and physics? do they go through how formulae are derived, walkthroguh examples, etc.?

hmmz did first year engo students get anything for ENGG1000 (the design one i think)? its all recomended stuff and looks like a big waste of money

o.O a credit congrats. havent heard too many ppl getting them uni maths n physics seems realy different from wat ive read i guess. are the classes for harder maths n physics the same as normal maths n physics except for the assessments?

well i enjoy maths and physics but not the really crazy stuff that gives you headaches =p how do maths and physics in uni compare ta ext 2 n physics in da hsc?

hey are engineers who study a double degree such as engineering/commerce less preferred by employers compared to engineers who just study the single degree? ive been looking around and have found that the UOC needed for engineering in the combined degree is less than the single engineering...

aint really keen to keep business studies :\

advanced english 4 unit maths chem physics but theres some risk to this. aint certain whether i can cope with ext 2 maths

Writing is a much better way to interact with what you are studying then reading it Writing is better also as sometimes some people tend to highlight too much or too little in text books
