    CSU - No Work, All Play? (Current CSU Students please read and respond)

    You find that with idiots all over the place. CSU is a lot of fun but people do actually study there too. Its more or less the style of the place that some people think makes it a hub for bludgers, which it isn't.

    Exams...and predicted results

    How did you all find the end-of-semester exams? I was on a HD average for the assessment parts of both my subjects (I am part time) which is 40% and 50% of the total mark overall. My first exam was really tough, had to BS a few questions and mucked up a few calculations, and second was pretty...

    Grrr...a decision!

    hi all I am studying the BInfTech at CSU this year and so far so good (with my summer subjects). Some lady rang me up from Monash uni the other day wanting to know if I would transfer to them 2nd semester, also doing their BInfTech degree via distance. The Monash one requires the equivalent of...

    NSW Maths -> Victorian Maths

    thanks champ. I still wonder what Victoria is doing, since that guide makes no mention of Victorian General Maths. I guess it has to be pretty much equivalent to NSW...

    NSW Maths -> Victorian Maths

    Hi all Just a question for those in the know: I have read on the VTAC website that NSW General Maths is equivalent to the VCE Further Mathematics course. Some people have told me it is equivalent to the VCE General Maths course...are these two courses the same thing, and more importantly, is...

    Csu -> Anu?

    Yeah that's very true. I chose CSU for the flexibility given my work circumstances, but given this opportunity at ANU, I am considering what I should do. Even with a UAI of 90.60, I have this creeping suspicion that everyone will be way smarter and get it all quicker than me...insular but a fear...

    Csu -> Anu?

    yeah I have been saving a bit so I have cash to fund myself for the most bit...I am a little worried that ANU will be soul destroying and "omg this is f-ing hard" all the time. i understand you don't learn without challenges, and of course I am going to uni to get an education, but worried...

    Math1005

    hi has anyone here done the subject? I am coming from doing General maths and this is like Discrete mathematics. Did well enough in General (83) so is MATH1005 "do-able" coming from my background?

    Csu -> Anu?

    Hi all I am at CSU this year (just starting out) and I got an email from a girl at ANU that I can do a mid-year entry into BInfTech if I want to. Now this is the exact same degree title I am doing at CSU via Distance (As I work full time to pay my way!) Is it worth it going to ANU for the...

    Most universities require you to speak to your course coordinator. A good starting point might be a lecturer if you can't find out the coordinator, or can't contact them.

    Transfer to ANU

    loquasagacious: thanks for your reply. Yes I was tossing the idea of quitting work to go to the ANU, as it is pissing me off and I was contemplating moving on. The real motivator was the reputation of ANU and some of the what-looks-like-cool subjects you can do. That said, CSU does have some...
