hm ... i'm not sure, but our head maths teacher is a 3u HSC marker and on the committee that determines the cut off marks for each band. i'm pretty sure she said that 70s out of 84 would be E4 no problem. i don't think it would be as low as the 40s.. or even the 50s to be honest. maybe 60s...
